Marketing Assistant (Apprentice)

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and driven person to join our marketing team and play a key role in helping to market and grow our business.

Solutions for Accounting and CRM are a leading Sage Accounts and CRM software solution providers in the United Kingdom with an aggressive growth strategy.

Our team of professional sales advisers, consultants and developers has grown organically and through acquisition, but also from the nurture of aspiring and talented apprentices. This growth has led to the creation of a new opportunity for a dynamic person to join our company.

We have a fantastic opportunity for someone to join our marketing team. This is an exciting chance to work closely with an experienced team member (reporting into the Marketing Manager) and learn a variety of marketing skills used in business.

We’re looking for someone interested in B2B marketing, a fast learner and enjoys new challenges.

Role & Responsibilities:

The role will involve:
• Writing engaging articles, blog posts and website content.
• Proof reading and checking important documents and correspondence.
• Maintaining an up to date database of our clients and their employees.
• Helping to organise events and conferences; sorting images for banners and materials, working with printers, liaising with customers and business partners.
• Digital marketing (social media).
• Being in regular contact with our website development and media company.

Personal Qualities:

To be considered for the role we would expect you to have A* to C grades in GCSE’s (or equivalent), strong English skills are essential and we’d prefer you to have studied to A level standard (or equivalent). You would need to have strong organisational skills with the ability to work unassisted, given ongoing training and support. It would also be preferred if you had website and digital marketing experience (but this is not essential).
We are also looking for individuals able to show that they can work quickly, but accuracy and attention to detail is also very important. We’d particularly like to hear from those that consider themselves creative and good communicators.
