Sage are pleased to announce the release of the latest version of Sage 50 Manufacturing - Sage 50 Manufacturing 2008! This release delivers support with Microsoft Vista and includesa number of new features and is fully compatible with the Sgae 50 Accounts software.
Estimating - Providing facilities which allow multiple item estimates. This has been implemented so that each item effectively has its own estimate record, with the benefit of retaining all existing features like quantity breaks, stage etc.
This simplifies the estimating process where quotes for multiple items are required for the same prospect or customer. Customers no longer have to process seperate estimates for each item resulting on significant time saving and ease of use.
Further Estimating Enhancements - Provides customers with the ability to:-
- flag a stage template so that it is automatically added to any estimate that is created
- build estimate by selling price rather than cost and mark-up
This saves time for customers during estimate creation and provides added flexibility in pricing
Allocations - Integrates with the allocation fields specially reserved for non Accounts programs. This eliminates error messages raised by File Maintenance. This provides improved integration and synchronising between Accounts and Manufacturing.
Delivery Notes - Utilise the new unique numbers provided for sales order item lines. Resolving the occasional problem where customers' delivery notes and invoices are corrupted. This eliminates possible data corruptions when data compression is applied.
Vista - The application is supported on Microsoft Vista. All software componnts are now Vista compatible.
MRP - Ability to control whether MRP applies reorder rules after aplying maximum bathc size check. This means added flexibility when plannig material requirements
MRP - The MRP tags viw an now be collapsed by default, this improving usability and reduction of keystrokes.
