The client
Starlite are an East Midlands based dance wear company run by husband and wife team Gill and Keith Clarke.
From their Lincolnshire premises they have developed a successful retail business supplying dance wear, shoes and accessories to both the public and trade.

The challenge
When Starlite moved premises, they wanted to include a much larger retail store to enable the best shopping experience for their customers, giving a good representation of their high quality stock and service offering.
It wasn’t feasible to run their business as they did before with many separate manual systems to handle sales, receipts, stock availability and replenishment, Sage Retail had all the answers. (Sage retail = Sage 200 + Counterpoint EPoS solution.)
Solutions’ Approach
With their ever increasing and varying stock, pricing and discounts both on their website and in store, Starlite needed a system that could cope with many different aspects that were previously separate and manual. They wanted an integrated accounting and EPoS solution, eradicating manual data entry enabling quicker, more accurate processes.
Previously, they felt restricted with their mismatch systems, they needed a solution that would support their growth and evolve with them as their needs and requirements change.
Due to Solutions’ vast knowledge and experience with Sage 200, we knew this solution, integrated with Counterpoint’s EPoS system, would be the perfect fit. Streamlining their processes, would give them more time to focus on the growth of their business, rather than the day-to-day running of their systems.
The installation of Sage 200 and our swift new tills (EPoS) was smooth, efficient and totally trouble free. Our retail store is now handled on a day to day basis by two very experienced members of staff and now, due to Sage Retail, they can also handle the ‘Dancing in the Street’ retail website, mail orders, telephone sales and returns as well as the stores’ sales and enquiries.
