Sage have released their latest version of Sage 50cloud Accounts, and with it, they have introduced some great new features including new business dashboards, Sage Help Centre desktop icon, protect your data, and simplified remote data access.
These new features will help improve the day-to-day usage of your system and streamline your processes.
What's new in Sage 50?
Business Dashboards
The Business dashboard is a great new feature that gives your team with the key business data that they need at a glance. With ready-to-use dashboards already set up, or the option to customise your own, you will have a 360 view of your key business information, all in one centralised place.
Sage Help Centre desktop icon
Sage have simplified their support guides and updated their Help Centre. You can now access the Sage 50cloud Accounts Help Centre directly from your desktop with the new icon, making it much easier to get the support you need at the click of a button.
Protect your data
In this update, Sage have added an automated check data feature to help you better protect your data. This feature helps automate your check data and gives you confidence that any issues can be picked up quickly with minimum disruption to your business continuity.
What’s more, the checks run in the background which means you don’t have to have your software open and can still work while your data check is running.
Simplified Remote Data Access
In earlier versions of the software, Remote Data Access had a main site where the data was uploaded and remote sites where data was accessed.
In the latest version Sage have simplified this by removing the concept of main and remote sites. This means that all features can now be used at any site using Remote Data Access. This means that users won’t need to travel to the office to perform certain tasks. Online services such as Bank feeds, Direct Debits, Invoice Payments and Microsoft 365 integration can be set up from any site.
Sage routinely release new versions of software as well as ‘End of life‘ older versions.
