Sage 200 Standard (and Sage for Education 2021) R3 was released in early November with significant performance improvements designed to help your business run more smoothly and efficiently.
In this release, users can now utilise a variety of new features including web screens for sales order processing and quotations which will further enhance flexibility, accessibility and freedom for your team to work how they want and where they want.
Sage has a progressive strategy that is constantly evolving, and each new release is built using customer feedback, putting customers’ needs at the centre of the product roadmap.
What is new in the latest release?
Sales Order Processing
In order to provide the best user experience, Sage have continued improving the web screen functionality within Sage 200. Users can now access their sales order processing list to create, view and amend sales orders from any web enabled device. Whether you’re in the office, at home or even with a customer, the latest release gives you the ability to instantly create quotations or sales orders.
What’s more, these documents can be printed to PDF then emailed directly to customers without needing to be in the office.
When reviewing sales orders, users can view the order line discount breakdown. Thanks to R3, your sales team can immediately see and apply discounts expected by their customers and proactively respond to their customers needs. This also provides sales managers with insights into how discounts are being used and the impact on revenues and pipeline.
Quotations
Previously, when generating a sales order, users could only see potential cross-sell suggested items or alternative items suitable for that customer. Thanks to the latest release, Sage have enhanced this functionality, which means your team can see the same features when generating a quote via a web screen.
This functionality significantly increases opportunities to personalise the quotes generated for your customers. It also improves the speed at which quotes can be raised and adapted to customer’s needs. In addition, users can now understand their customers’ needs by having visibility of their frequently ordered, recently ordered, or preferred items when raising a quote for them.
Updated Migration Tool
For Sage 50 cloud accounts customers, there may come a time where they naturally outgrow that particular solution. The latest update to the migration tool allows for a smooth migration from Sage 50 cloud to Sage 200 Standard.
Furthermore, the tool will also support migration to Sage 200 Professional and migration back from Sage 200 Professional to Sage 200 Standard should that be the best solution for your business.
