Every year we select a charity to donate money for. In the past we have raised money for SANDS, The Silver Line and Mind, amongst many others.
Earlier this year, we were delighted to announce that Support Dogs UK had been selected as our Charity of the Year for 2023 and through our partnership with Support Dogs, we aim to create positive change and raise awareness about the invaluable role these remarkable dogs play in our society.
In April, we had the privilege of hosting the Support Dogs team at our quarterly team meeting, where we were introduced to some amazing dogs and their incredible trainers and owners. It was an enlightening experience that allowed us to learn more about the charity’s mission and the profound impact they have on people’s lives.
During this memorable experience, the Solutions team had the opportunity to witness first-hand the exceptional skills of the support dogs, who undergo intensive training to become assistance dogs for individuals with various disabilities, including autism, epilepsy and physical limitations. Witnessing the bond between the support dogs and their owners left us in awe of the life-changing help provided by the charity.
To show our commitment to this fantastic organisation, we carried out some fundraising during our team meeting and we are thrilled to share that we raised an impressive £312!
This contribution will go directly towards assisting Support Dogs in their mission to transform the lives of those in need.
