Sage has announced that Sage 50 Accounts will now have four releases annually instead of one. This means users will receive useful updates throughout the year, solving their issues and addressing their needs more regularly.

1. Sage Copilot’s report feature allows you to create tailored reports
Sage Copilot is an AI-powered productivity assistant that helps you to achieve smarter, faster decisions with detailed insights. Users must now log in with their Sage identification to access this rather than using their normal logins.
By developing its AI products, Sage is harnessing AI’s power to shape the future of the modern business world. AIPRM reports that nine out of ten surveyed workers claimed that AI helped them save time on tasks, with 85% claiming that AI helps them to focus on their most important work.
One of Copilot’s innovative features, “Report with Copilot”, enables you to ask Copilot to create reports using everyday language by guiding you through a series of questions, efficiently tailoring report outputs to your needs.
This currently applies to basic transaction reports, which you can filter and sort by dates, specific amounts or transaction types. For example, you could request Copilot to show all sales invoices over a monetary amount and a particular period of time, sorted by date and customer name.
Once the report has been created, you can view it, edit it in Sage Report Designer or start again if you want it to be categorised differently.

2. Sage Copilot’s Instant Report Analysis feature helps you review your business’ performance
Instant Report Analysis is the second major feature of Copilot in Sage 50 Accounts. It enables you to view your business performance quickly, examining your profit, loss, and balance sheet reports.

- Begin analysis
- Analyse balance sheet
- Analyse profit and loss
