There have been lots of exciting things happening behind the scenes at Solutions. We’ve been working hard to grow our team so we can expand our expertise, bring in fresh perspectives, and continue delivering even stronger support to our clients.
We know it’s always nice to be able to put some faces to names, so we thought we’d take a moment to introduce our newest recruits.

Lori Kidd – Sales Manager
Starting off strong, say hello to our new Sales Manager, Lori!
Bringing lots of energy and drive, she’s hit the ground running with new ideas and a proactive approach. It’s no surprise that she knows exactly how to deliver results with over 25 years of successful experience across Professional Services, SaaS, software, and solution-based environments.
Lori shared that:
“I’m passionate about understanding client needs and helping businesses identify and implement the right technology and service solutions to support efficiency, growth and long-term success.
Just as importantly, I love motivating and developing high-performing sales teams, empowering individuals to achieve their potential while driving collective results.”
At the heart of it all, Lori is driven by people, business, and growth. Whether she’s working with clients, partners, or colleagues, she’s focused on building lasting relationships and making great things happen.
Alastair Mackintosh – Sage Intacct consultant
Alastair’s journey in ERP started many years ago, and now he’s helping businesses confidently step into the future with the leading software in finance AI and automation.
“How is he doing that?” we hear you ask…
As our newest Sage Intacct consultant! He brings 30 years of ERP implementation experience, along with a background in accounts. In short, he understands exactly what clients need when starting out with new systems and has a real knack for making those systems truly work for them.
In Alastair’s own words:
“The support that I have had while onboarding is the same support that the client receives, a very personal touch, which I hope that I can enhance with my own experience.”
He also added, “Who says you cannot teach an old dog new tricks!”
We couldn’t agree more! With Alastair’s expertise and down-to-earth approach (and a few great stories to share along the way), it’s safe to say our clients will be in very good hands.

Clay Boylan – Sage 200 consultant
We were thrilled to welcome Clay to the team in November last year as a Sage 200 consultant!
With over a decade of experience in handling Sage installs and upgrades, let’s just say he knows his stuff and is well-equipped to deliver powerful solutions, helping to tailor them to our clients’ needs.
Here’s what he said about his time at Solutions so far:
“Everyone I’ve met here has been lovely and very welcoming. I look forward to working with everyone and developing my skills here. It’s already clear that Solutions cares deeply about its staff and customers.”

Samantha Hayes – Sage Intacct Technician

Benjamin Smyth – Junior Sage Intacct Technician
Bringing up the rear (but that’s certainly no reflection on his talent!) is our youngest new team member, Benjamin.
He may be at the start of his professional career, but it’s already proving to be an exciting one. While studying at university, he completed a summer internship in accounting in Colombia, an experience that sparked his passion for the world of accounts and set him firmly on his path to Solutions.
In Benjamin’s own words:
“I am particularly looking forward to working with our clients to help them streamline their accounting systems and support them in getting the most value out of powerful tools, such as Sage Intacct. The idea of using my problem-solving abilities to assist others in their processes and making the business environment a better place really excites me.”
Over the coming months, he’ll be busy expanding his knowledge and building expertise to deliver real impact for our clients. Be sure to keep an eye out for him; he’s a legend in the making (if not already!).

“We’ve grown from strength to strength and I am now focusing on the continual review of business processes to support the company’s growth plans in my new role as Business Process Director.
I’m excited for the future at Solutions for Accounting — being involved in a growing business at a strategic level is extremely motivating and fulfilling. I have always enjoyed supporting customers from a wide range of industries in streamlining their businesses and being involved in continual improvement and efficiencies is inspirational to me. My aim is to strive to inspire others in our future journeys.”
