Back in 2020 Sage announced that Sage 200 Manufacturing would be withdrawn from sale as of the 1st November 2020 and would be placed on extended support from the 1st January 2021. At this point Sage announced that they would work with independent software vendors who specialise in industry specific solutions, and after an in-depth and extensive development phase Cim Services have created Cim200 – a fully integrated product that looks and feels similar to Sage 200 Manufacturing, but with all the functionality you would expect from a cutting-edge manufacturing solution.
The announcement means that although Sage 200 Manufacturing will continue to be supported in line with the end of support policy of your version of Sage 200, the module will no longer be developed, and therefore, if you are looking for a solution that will grow with your business and adapt to changing demands, then you will need to invest in a system that is more future-proof.

What are the features?
Stock control
With Cim200 Stock Control you can track and maintain the items you sell, buy or manufacture. Users also have the ability to drill down into current orders, giving you full visibility of your stock situation and allowing you to ensure you can fulfil your customer and manufacturing needs with ease and maintain a high level of customer service.
Bill of Materials
Cim200 Bill of Materials gives you complete flexibility to control your production processes. Users can configure BOMs with multiple routes, giving you the flexibility and insight on the build options available when raising a Works Order.
On top of this, liquid and food manufacturers can take advantage of Cim200’s Percentage BOM functionality, allowing you to define components by the percentage of the finished goods. Choose what is right for your businesses depending on your manufacturing needs and processes.
Commercials
Cim200 Commercials has been enhanced to improve your order routing and users can take full advantage of added functionality.
Scheduled sales orders will allow users to generate scheduled orders with multiple delivery dates for a single order line over a fixed or flexible period of time, customer part numbers make order entry easier when customers provide their own part numbers, and purchase order receipts will give users the ability to effortlessly allocate stock to Works Orders on receipt.
Works orders
Cim Services have designed the Works Orders to look and feel like a BOM from the Sage 200 Bill of Materials module. Users who are familiar with Sage 200 BOM will instantly feel comfortable working in the Works Order module.
With capacity planning and project accounting, the Cim200 Works Order module will give you the functionality to easily control and monitor all of the items that you currently have in production.
Planning
Meeting your customer demands in a fast and cost-effective way is one of the key elements required from your software.
The Cim200 Planning module helps users achieve this by reading demands across all modules and displaying the finished goods and components that are needed in an easily controlled view.
Add ons
In order to get the most out of your software Cim Services has collaborated with other award-winning Sage Developers Datalinx and Draycir, to provide you with bespoke integration with additional tools to help enhance your manufacturing processes.
Simple migration
Cim Services have also developed a complete migration tool which makes it easy for Sage 200 Manufacturing customers to transition to Cim200.
The tool will transfer all of the manufacturing settings from the Sage modules and also offers the option to migrate all Works Orders or just current live Works Orders.
