Highlights of Sage Intacct 2022 R1
GL Outlier Assistant
For organisations using GL Outliner detection and approvals, Sage have created the outlier Assistant. This will allow users creating journal entries to harness the power of GL Outliner detection by alerting them to any outliers for the journal entries they submit.
The submitter can then verify that the entry is correct and proactively address any potential issues before the journal entry is posted or routed for approval, if approvals have been set up. With this feature, you can increase confidence in the accuracy of your journal entries and ensure that any issues are corrected quickly.
Notations within Financial Reports
The latest release also comes with added notation support in the financial report writer so you can include qualitative information in your financial statements.
In the financial report writer, you have a new notations tab where you can define the notations text and row placement. You can then add a column in your report output to indicate where your notation should be shown in the appropriate row, giving the stakeholders viewing the reports all the information they need.
Greater insight into forecasted renewals
This release enables subscription-based businesses to gain greater insight into forecasted renewals. You can analyse billings, revenues and payments for upcoming contact renewals using customer quote writer, interactive custom report writer as well as interactive visual explorer.
These powerful tools enable you to report and slice and dice as well as visualise forecasted contract renewal information with ease.
Purchase Invoice Automation
Early adopters of this fantastic new feature in Sage Intacct 2022 R1 can streamline the AP purchase invoice creation process with Purchase Invoice Automation by automatically creating Sage Intacct AP purchase invoices from supplier-provided AP purchase invoices.
Using AI and machine learning, the system will automatically create draft bills which you can review and adjust before submitting for approval. Paying your bills is also easier than ever. This will result in a more efficient, automated workflow that saves you time and reduces the risk of errors.
Auto-create GL Transactions
Sage have also enhanced their bank transaction rules engine for early adopters which will automate the creation of journal entries straight from the bank transaction feed.
Adding this new type of create rule not only reduces input time by automating regular transactions it also matches these transactions automatically on your bank reconciliation, saving you time and eliminating manual data entry processes. You can also leverage reusable transaction templates to define the details of the journal entry that should be created, including whether or not it should be created in a draft or posted state.
