Act! v24 has been scheduled for general release on September 17th with significant performance improvements designed to help your business run more smoothly and efficiently. This latest version has been engineered as a true 64-bit software application, able to take advantage of almost unlimited system memory. Previous Act! versions have all been 32-bit, meaning that even when installed on more powerful computers with abundant RAM, performance was throttled back by the architecture of the software. How can I upgrade?
If you are an existing Act! customer, you’re already entitled to v23 as a privilege of your subscription.
If you log into your database via the Act! cloud platform, you’ll see that you are already using v23 as the latest update has been ‘pushed’ directly to the Act! web servers.
If you have Act! installed locally on your laptop, desktop and servers, then you’ll simply need to download and install the v23 application to access the new features.
