We have been involved in implementing and developing with Sage Intacct right from its launch in the UK market, and over several months, our development team have been working hard to rewrite our Direct Debit module as a cloud-based application, to provide you with a robust addon that will seamlessly integrate with your Sage Intacct system. With another module currently being created and even more on the horizon, the future of Sage Intacct addons is looking bright here at Solutions.
What is the Direct Debit module?
If your business collects payments by direct debit, then you might have noticed that Sage Intacct doesn’t offer the ability to schedule the collection of these with your direct debit provider. This leaves you needing to manually prepare collection runs, probably one collection at a time, slowing down your operations.
By utilising our latest module for Sage Intacct, you can generate a suggested Direct Debit collection list directly from your invoice data within Sage Intacct. Once you’re happy with the collection data you can create a BACS request file to pass to your DD provider. Posting the collection run to Sage Intacct automatically generates AR receipts and matches them to the invoices, helping save you hours and sometimes days in processing time.
The module will also deal with both AUDDIS and ARRUD files meaning less work for you in setting up new mandates and processing rejections. It will also allow you to restrict which individuals and IP addresses have access to specific data. With this feature, you can control where people access your software and ensure that highly secure data is only available to the right people in the right place. This will again provide a higher level of security for your business by guaranteeing that you have control over where your data is being accessed.
