At Solutions, our commitment to making a positive impact goes beyond numbers- it’s about the heartfelt sum of our collective efforts as we annually unite in choosing a charity that resonates with our team’s shared values and passion for giving back. 2023 marked a standout year for us as we surpassed our target and managed to raise a remarkable £8,000 to our selected charity, Support Dogs.
Support Dogs
Support Dogs is a national charity that trains and provides assistance dogs to children and adults with challenging medical conditions, including physical disabilities and epilepsy. These amazing dogs are trained to offer practical support and improve the quality of life for their owners.
Established in 1992, Support Dogs specialises in three unique programs: Autism assistance dogs, seizure alert dogs for individuals with epilepsy, and disability assistance dogs. This heart-warming cause changes not only the lives of the people in need but also the dogs’ lives, as 1 in 4 canines are unwanted pets or rescue animals.
This year, we extended our fundraising efforts to new heights as some of our more fearless team members secured their harnesses and leapt out of a plane from 15,000ft.
With the donations we gained from our GoFundMe page, along with fundraising during team meetings and contributions from the team replacing Secret Santa, Solutions for Accounting and CRM is proud to have had its most significant year yet with a chosen charity.

After an employee vote at our most recent team meeting, we are excited to announce that our chosen charity of the year for 2024 will be Maggie’s.
Maggie’s is a remarkable charity dedicated to providing invaluable care and support to those affected by cancer. Operating both in physical centres across the UK and through online channels, Maggie’s offers free expert assistance from cancer support specialists, psychologists, and benefits advisors.
Focusing on critical aspects such as financial concerns, stress and depression management, side-effect coping strategies, and family support, Maggie’s aims to make a profound impact on the lives of cancer patients and their loved ones. Through careful evaluation, informed by external research and their own studies, Maggie’s ensures their support not only addresses immediate needs but also contributes to long-term improvements in physical and emotional well-being.
As our chosen charity for the year, we are proud to support Maggie’s in their mission to help individuals regain control in the face of life-altering challenges.
