In the Summer of 2020, Sage announced the end of support for Sage 50 Manufacturing meaning users need to be prepared for the next steps.
Although ‘end of support’ does not mean that the Sage 50 Manufacturing software will stop working after September 2021, there will be no further development of the product. Cim50 latest release
As mentioned, Cim50 release new versions of the software multiple times a year with v2021.3 being the most recent update this year. This release contains a small number of minor improvements focussing on stability and resolutions to a host of bug fixes issues reported by Cim50 users and the partner network.
Stock control hotfixes
- Issue when over-receiving a purchase order line that causes the quantity ordered to be updated and incorrectly in certain circumstances has been fixed.
- Problem when adjusting traceable stock takes any allocated stock into account twice, stopping users from adjusting out a desired quantity in certain circumstances has been resolved.
SFDC hotfix
- Issue that occurs when issuing traceable stock to a works order in certain circumstances has been solved.
Works order hotfix
- Issue that occurs when issuing automatically selected traceable batches or serial numbers in certain circumstances has been resolved.
