Accounts Payable Bill Automation
Sage Intacct has rolled out the AP Bill Automation feature for all users, following its success in the early adopter program. This feature simplifies the process of creating bills by automatically capturing vendor bill information and generating a draft bill in Sage Intacct.
You can upload bills directly into Sage Intacct or send them via email to a designated address. The system gives you the option to create bills with either a single line item that summarises the total or multiple line items for more detailed entries. Sage Intacct’s AI also learns from your corrections, improving the accuracy of bill processing over time.
Automated Transaction Matching (Early Adopter)
Automated transaction matching, now available for early adopters, is another tool designed to streamline your workflows. This feature automatically matches incoming vendor invoices with existing purchase transactions, reducing manual effort.
You can set up how the system should map incoming documents to existing transactions. After you upload or email vendor invoices, the system will use AI to detect the vendor and match it to the correct transaction. A draft invoice will be created for your review, allowing you to make any necessary adjustments before posting.
Enhanced Workflow and Reporting
Sage Intacct 2024 R3 introduces several new tools to improve your workflow and reporting capabilities:
Track Order Entry Transactions with the Contract Dimension
Now you can categorise, track and analyse order entry transactions without needing a Contracts application subscription. This feature helps you enhance reporting visibility and improve business forecasting.
Convert Multiple Documents into a Single Purchasing Transaction
When creating a new invoice, you can now combine multiple source documents into one purchasing transaction, simplifying complex workflows.
Usage Insights
This new tool gives you real-time data and actionable insights, helping you make more informed decisions. You can track customer and vendor growth, monitor user activity and visualise customer and vendor locations on a map.
Enhanced Email Delivery and Insights
Sage Intacct now supports DKIM, an industry-standard for email security. This ensures your emails are delivered reliably and gives you visibility into their delivery status. You can authenticate your domain to send emails from both your main and sub-domains.
Undo Credits and Void Payments in Posted Payments
Workflow efficiency is further enhanced with the ability to undo credits from posted payments and void payments directly from the posted payments page. This feature allows you to manage credits more flexibly, improving overall payment handling.
Additional Enhancements
New Fonts for Printed Documents
Sage Intacct has added new fonts for use in Microsoft Word templates, offering more customisation for your printed documents.
Improved Visibility in Cash Management
You can now see all unmatched transactions by default when reconciling bank or credit card accounts, making it easier to manage your accounts.
Direct Access to Sage Intacct Planning
Access Sage Intacct Planning directly from the Budget Planning page, streamlining your budgeting and planning tasks.
Updated UK Tax Reporting
Sage Intacct has refined the process for reporting input and output taxes on reverse charges, ensuring compliance with recent updates in Sage Regulatory Reporting.
